Media Minister Keheliya Rambukwella says that the government is trying to attract foreign investors to the Colombo port city as the main solution to the problems it is currently facing.
“We have not bypassed the executive, the legislature and the judiciary. These statements are 200% untrue. The Attorney General has officially informed us that this is in accordance with the Constitution.
We have some issues. Those problems are the foreign exchange problem, the dollar problem. We take foreign investors as the main reason for solving those problems. I see it as an attempt to prevent that and to impose that burden on the people of the country and bring about a very miserable cure or satisfaction, ”he said.
