Minister of Labor Nimal Siripala de Silva says that this is not a time to provide relief to the people.
“We are deeply saddened that the country is in a crisis due to corona, with a huge debt burden and the inability to provide all the relief that people expect at a time of a dollar crisis. “
Nimal Siripala de Silva was responding to a question raised by journalists in Colombo yesterday (11) regarding the budget.
